Tree Service Denver LLC hires climbers, ground crew, and arborists-in-training to work under an ISA member arborist on residential and commercial tree jobs across the Denver metro. Crews work to ANSI Z133 safety standards with proper gear on every site, get paid for skill growth (certification study is supported), and do varied work — technical removals, fine pruning, plant health care — rather than one repetitive task. If you want to learn arboriculture properly, this is the kind of shop to learn it in.
Who We’re Looking For
Experienced crew members wanted first — but strong entry-level candidates with the right attitude are always welcome.
🥾 Tree Climber
Rigging, removals, pruning, and storm work. Saddle and rope climbing required. 2+ years experience preferred.
$28 – $45/hr • Full-time or 1099
🚗 Bucket Operator
Aerial lift and bucket truck operation. CDL preferred but not required. Extra pay for CDL holders.
$30 – $48/hr • Full-time or 1099
🏗 Crew Leader
Lead crews on complex removals and commercial work. 3+ years experience and demonstrated leadership required.
$32 – $52/hr • Full-time
🧹 Groundsman / Apprentice
Drag brush, chip, rope handling, cleanup, and crew support. Zero experience required. Valid driver’s license needed.
$18 – $26/hr • Full-time or Part-time

1Do I need ISA membership to apply?
No. ISA membership is preferred for climber roles but is not required. We welcome both ISA member arborists and motivated workers without certifications. Having it can increase your starting pay rate — and we support exam costs for apprentices who want to get certified.
2Is this W-2 or 1099 work?
We are open to both W-2 and 1099 arrangements depending on the role and your preference. Full-time crew leader and groundsman positions are typically W-2. Climbers and bucket operators can discuss either arrangement. Let us know what works for you in the application.
3Does Tree Service Denver LLC provide climbing gear?
Basic equipment is available on job sites. Having your own climbing saddle, rope, and hardware is a plus and can affect your starting pay rate — but it is not required to apply. We will tell you exactly what to bring before your first day.
4Do you hire people with no tree work experience?
Yes. We have apprentice and entry-level groundsman positions that require zero prior tree experience. A valid driver’s license, physical fitness, and a strong work ethic are what we look for. Attitude and reliability matter more than credentials at the entry level.
5How fast do you follow up after I apply?

6Is there year-round work available?
Yes. Tree Service Denver LLC operates year-round — including winter removal, storm response, and dormant-season pruning. Denver’s Front Range climate allows for tree work in most months. Storm season (spring through fall) generates the highest volume of work and the best earning opportunities.
